    What are the membership dues used for?

    USMS fees, operational fees, marketing, communications, internet service, website production, promotion, swim equipment and team expenses.

    Does the Greenville Splash give back to the community?


    • The Greenville Splash hosts the annual Upstate Splash Charity Open water Swim that takes place at Lake Jocassee and raises funds to support our community at-risk youth to learn how to swim. The funds raised allows us to partner with local swim facilities offering scholarships for free swim lessons. We are advocates towards supporting our community in the prevention of childhood drowning and the awareness of water safety.
    • The Greenville Splash is a recipient for a grant from the USMS Swimming Saves Lives Foundation to sponsor adult swim lessons.

    Is the Greenville Splash Masters program a registered club with USMS?

    YES, the Greenville Splash Master program is a registered club with United States Masters Swimming.

    Should I join the USMS?

    We require all our members to register with United States Masters Swimming (USMS). The annual membership is $51.00. You can register online with a credit card. Click on the register button below to get started. By joining USMS, you will receive the Swimmer Magazine six times a year which contains great articles on nutrition, triathlon training, swimming tips, and feature articles on swimmers just like you throughout the United States. More importantly, by registering, you are supporting a healthy lifestyle through aquatic exercise. Being a USMS registered swimmer allows you to participate in USMS sanctioned events such as swim meets, open water races and virtual challenges.
